Wow…this is it!

Sprinter

Hi, hello and welcome to our official and mandatory introductory post. For those who don’t know we have had a blog up in the past but following a fresh blog re-install we have decided to start afresh – not to worry, we will be reposting our previous posts.

So without further a due, let me go over who we are, what we do and why we started the BiWhizz movement.

We’re a new business networking-business management start-up. Sounds likes another corporate-orientated platform but it isn’t we cater to aspiring entrepreneurs and small-medium sized business.

I’m Ogo.  I grew up in Brussels and moved to London in 2002 to pursue further studies (blimey, how time flies). Whilst at university, though totally unrelated to my degree, I gained experience in branding, marketing and promotions as an event’s organiser. Alongside this I have an avid interest in the web, especially the web 2.0, community’s based movement. The web has changed remarkably in the past ten years and its fascinating to see how brands are attempting to leverage on the latest tools and features out there to the reach out to the masses. I have always had a passion for entrepreurship. In some respect, I see it as an art: bringing together the resources to make a venture happen regardless of the resources in the entrepreneur’s current control. The art of leadership is the art of modern leadership. See post: Business is War.

Chidozie is my partner, close friend and cousin.  You may have seen the film ‘300’, a depiction of the renowned battle of Thermopylae between the ‘Spartans’ from Greece and the far superior, in number anyway, Persian Army – sorry for whipping out the history. Well, he’s like a Spartan, not in stature (he wishes), but mindset.  He’s very determined, ambitious and passionate about the web and entrepreneurship. To him, it’s about finding broken systems and industries and trying to fix them, whilst creating new ideas and theories. He has a bag of great ideas for BiWhizz and his vision is exemplary, Zidane-esque for those football-savvy readers.

Last but never least is Sudeep, our partner and owner of Infovinity Systems. He’s the man that turns our ideas for BiWhizz into reality. He has been remarkable with the development of our prototype of the platform.  His proven track-record in business leadership and ownership are an invaluable asset to us.

So what will we be discussing and writing about? It varies from hot button issues and events, our experiences, new developments (internal and external) and general topics that we can all learn from. Essentially, we want to engage with the ‘budding’ entrepreneurs as well as those that are more seasoned and the content we provide will relate to all. Of course, we will also be keeping you updated with platform developments. Stay tuned and stay engaged.

Thank you.

[...] Previously, I mentioned how, over time, I’d come to perceive business as an art-form. Today, I thought I’d elaborate on that point, more specifically from a ‘bootstrapping’ perspective. In addition, for all those aspiring entrepreneurs, I’ll touch on how money is not the be-all and end- all to the successful start of a business, take it from experience. [...]
